Übermenschen

Elze's picture

An Übermensch is a narcissist who has put himself [or has been put] on a divine pedestal and that in a paternalistic way with brainwashing methods and political, economical and intellectual means on the one hand and familial, relational and communicative means on the other hand, tries to maintain that in the Hierarchical Position.

The term Übermensch has a functional connection with the term Über-Ich from Freud and the Parent from Berne and Harris. Someone who thinks he knows everything better than the [Ich] Adult and the {Es] Child and - in a physically and/or mentally damaging way - tries to maintain that in a hierarchical position  The Übermensch is the one who says: 'I am older. I am Über-Ich. That is why I am ok and the rest of the family is not ok. Those are Untermenschen who have to do what I want'.
It is up to the so-called Untermenschen how they react to that. Whether they think and react like an adult to the childish behavior of the Übermensch, or that they let intimidate or challenge themselves and carried away with that.
Or that they say: 'anyone who does not harm themselves and/or others is ok, all those who do are not ok'.
Or that they - just like Socrates and Jesus of Nazareth - talk reasonably but act unreasonably; by - without noteworthy protest that they were classified and treated as Untermensch - let damaging themselves by self-deifying Ubermenschen and forgive that themselves and others as well.
Because that yields a divine position? With many supporters who can fight together against other Übermenschen? To create Untermenschen themselves?
